Cooling Air lock

still think itll come out milky....but give it a try....

 

I'm talking aboy the fluid that has not been through the system not the fluid that's in the system at the moment.

Nothing ventured nothing gained.

 

Having to change the block over to the Maze 2, I thought I'd run the system for 72hrs. I was told that the aeration in the water is a reaction to the inhibitor as it oxidizes against the different metals.

It does seem to be getting clearer.

 

Is the water milky when the pump isn't running?

 

I'm sorta having the same issue..When i was using my maze2 everything was ok...but now i'm testing this other block with my jabsco (everything else being the same) and the water is milky looking..I kinda thought the waterblock was the culprit. I picked up a swiftech mcw-462-uh and I'll try it this weekend. Hopefully the water flows clear..

Spawny have you used that pump before? Or is it brand new?

what kinda addatives did u add?

 

good ol' water wetter and distilled water..my usual 30:1 mix. I really do think its that block im using, i guess i'll know this weekend when i switch over.

 

The pump was second hand as was the Maze 2 but the Res and Rad are new. The only thing I have in the water is water wetter at a very weak mix.
