That will look extreme yes, i have seen something like that somewhere but the case has to fit in a narrow space, so can't do that lol

I really like the intake pipe that goes to the cpu cooler, and may have a go at something similar for my PC as I have a hotspot that could be reached like that, and it would be fun!

Does it make any extra noise though?

Wow....how long did it take you to get all those bits together for the 'turbine'?
    Fantastic idea *bows* :D

Looking through your pics, I thought nice idea about the intake, but then the second intake... wow that is amazing. I love how people can just bring random bits and pieces together and make things like this. Great work!

Did some modding on the main fan in the mean time, i needed a more powerfull fan so i took out the CPU cooler of my old AMD, (have not used it in ages) this is a Delta high RPM fan, which is powerfull but a bit noisy.

So i took my already cut up Stanley bottle which has foam insulation (good thing i kept it)

and fitted the fan inside. I took off the blades cause the turbinefan will be attached to this later.

Made a ring out of packaging foam and a hard plastic ring i cut out of a bucket i had laying around

Sealed the fan inside glued under pressure and let it dry overnight

I let it run for a while, and i can tell you this reduces noise significantly!

:D Finally found the missing part to make the nose cone look like the drawing, a 50 cent coffeespoon

    Yes a bit

a couple of weeks or so, some things i had laying around, and other stuff i had to find in hardware stores.

    Thx! On with the modding:

Found out i can make the turbine detachable by using the cap of my Stanley bottle:

and fitted it into the back end:

i can now screw this apart any time for easy access to clean or replace parts:

    Engine mount

I already started work on this piece:

but i decided to ditch this part, cause it would have to be shortened significantly to fit
in the case, it will end up looking a bit odd if i did that, not the same as the original
    design at all.

So when i was thinking up something new, here is where i got my idea for the new mount:

:D when turned up-side down this looks like a great mount:

so i found a nice piece in the local Games-Workshop, they have excellent modelkits with
great detail, this is part of a Warhammer turret gun, which i can use.

This thing wil be mounted at somewhat this height/angle:

:eeek: I have nowhere to fit this thing in the case:

So im thinking up somekind of a gamepad for this:

These are wingparts which would fit the theme of the case perfectly:

    Like so:

 As of now still looking up bits and pieces,

    Lots of work ahead.....

Wow, a kitbashing mod again! I'm really glad to see someone doing this stuff, makes me wanna get out my tools and do it again. However, I'm completely tied up with this mod ATM. So mod a little extra for me.

I want to see this get a MOTM nomination. Or a feature.
