Excellent review. I'm looking for a case around the £100 mark soon and may just have to stretch the budget for this!

My only issue with the case is the irremovable and irreversible door. I keep my case to the right of me which would make this door a bit of hassle. I was really hoping they would have at least made it reversible.

Seem's like a pretty sweet case, it's just a shame it's so hideous.

It's a bit featureless, but i wouldn't call it hideous at any stretch.

    Best cases, ever.

It may just be a different side panel and front, but the mirage chassis is one of the best, easy to work in, big and spacious, you cant really ask for much more!

Least its not packed with gimmics, just a massive removeable motherboard tray and LOADS of space. I allways put my new builds into my mirage, its my favourite case :D

The cost of my next upgrade just went up by about £40 for four more fans.

Looks like the mut's nuts though

    How about this one:

    or this one:

Same chassis, different look, and just under £100.

It may seem expensive, but it really is worth it :p

Nice review, case looks very promising with nice cooling. Personally not for me as I'm more of an aggressive case fan. But heck, it still caught my attention.

yeah same fundamental design as the eclipse of 6 years ago

would be nice to see them use the same idea but go somewhere else with it rather than sticka new front cover on it

any suggestions on how to improve it?

We thought about this, and there really wasn't much more we wanted from the Omega.

Quick question, what's the black plastic bit attached to the motherboard tray? Looks like some sort of large graphics card support, but it looks too far away from the back of the case for that...

With the size of graphics cards these days?

Its to organise cables coming from the front of the case or from the drive bays, stick em through that to tidy it up a little :p

Thats used for routing cables from the front of the case to the motherboard tray. Surprisingly simple but very effective.

Having owned the Eclipse and loving the case I was dissapointed by the Mirage since there was little new. Glad howeer to see them tweaking his where necessary in the cooling department.

I like the looks. Modders canvas and all that. I've got an idea for a sweet laser engraving + paint design that this case looks prefect for (and I love my eclipse so its a no brainer really)

Internal design is a dream to work with. Akasa, Lan Li and Cooler master are the only case makers I trust and Akasa consistently proves itself to be the best. Its a shame Lan Li have gone a bit gimmicky with their more recent designs otherwise they might be topping my list.
