    I still don't see how you get the masking off without taking some paint free. I ALWAYS had problems.

    I think it is important to treat the surface well before painting everything here, an alcohol to degrease, I have another problem instead, that is that when I remove the film there is some glue left when I use wd 40 to remove it and it does not damage the paint. ...

    That I can answer: Naphtha / lighter fluid / BBQ starter. Put some on toilet paper and it melts the gum. It shouldn't damage dry paint either. (Tenants put duct tape in the strangest places...)
    -Just do it outdoors, and no smoking. :lol:
