Alien Quadrilogy Box Set

    Ridiculous name :rolleyes:

    I got this today :rock: from Play.com (extra 10% off :D)...

    Anyway I have a question of anybody else who has already recieved it:

    On the inside front cover of the 'book' that the DVDs are contained within there is a cardboard flap that looks like it should contain a paper booklet/leaflet, but there is nothing there :confused: If you have got this box set (region 2) too, do you have a booklet?

    RMA'd it, new one arrived today, with booklet, great service from Play.com, they only required the the recorded delivery code from me to post out the new one and they refunded the postage :clap:

    No, WAY more stuff - 9DVDs

    1 per film with original theatrical and directors cuts of each movie (Alien 3 is a good 20 miniutes longer...)
    1 per film stuffed with extras for that fim

    bonus disc with more general extras...

    I was so pissed when I first saw the commercial for this new set. I bought the original box set when it came out and it wasn't cheap. Now I have to get the 'new and improved' boxset and spend more of my money!

    Thanks Mr. War-mongering, profit-motivated, 'we haven't made enough from this series yet', JERKS!

    Can't wait to buy it and see all the extra, extras! :p

    from what I understand, it has a total of like 25 hourse extra footage? if that's valid, then DAMN!!! i need to get it. although, I wasn't really a fan of the fourth one, kinda ruined the image of the series for me.

    I spotted it in Woolies the other day for £27. Phoned my mum to tell her to buy it (one of my krimbo prezzies) and she said, oh I'll got tomorrow, I can't be bothered going now.

    The next day I get an answerphone message...


    "hey you little ****! that box set was £57.99!! It's a good job I had the Kingfisher discount card on me!"
