Nah - Predator would win both times, even though alien is evil, Predators are still amazingly strong and nimble, they could tear the aliens apart plus they have the cool vision thingies which highlights aliens from miles away, so they'd never be ambushed. //nod me.
I know, but the question is, without the wrist blade (that's definately a weapon) could they still keep the armour and so forth, otherwise it's no contest, Predators are almost blind without their vision-enhancements, and you'd definately need some help to see an Alien coming at you...
As long as danny glover or Arnold Swartzenegger aren't there to foil the Predadtors Plans the Preds will win. In all honesty if the predators were a bit smarter they would have not been killed previously Go predators!
nother thing about the humans not knowing about aliens...SOME of them did. afik, the company was run by humans, and they sent the nostromo to lv426 so that they could get the aliens to study.
They didn't know previously. The colony on LV-426 was ravaged by Aliens, the company took a chance and decided they wanted to grab some of them... They didn't have any prior knowledge of them. *n
I was going to mention that when I got home, but you beat me too it penski... The Nostromo's computer 'Mother' in the first movie picked up a distress beacon on its journey home, therefore automatically stopping the ship and bringing the crew out of hypersleep to investigate. That is the first time us humans discovered the Aliens...

Do we know when AvP is set yet?, if the Aliens are on Earth I am guessing after Aliens... So the question becomes how long before Aliens were the Bishop model androids around?
I thought that premise was that the Predators had been leaving Aliens in these temple things fro thousands of years and that AVP was set in the not-too-distant future? *n
