It looks like a modified P2210H, down to the menu buttons and the stand. Resolution is the same too - though you've made a booboo on the review, as the first page lists 1920x1200 and the second 1920x1080.

Oh, and the P2210H can be had for under £200, which is £100 less than this, and comes with a zero dead pixel warranty...

Further proof that Alienware monitors are just Dell monitors with a badge and a price-hike. Kind of knew what the conclusion was before I even opened the article..

I only had to read 'Alienware' at the top of the review to know that it would be poor value for money.

This is exactly the sort of thing I'd buy, if it wasn't £300.. you can get a 22inch full HD for <£150.

It's a screen attached to a mechanical chicken leg.

    It looks a bit sleek.

But that much for a TN panel? I'll go find me NEC or 2209WA.

You guys are completely missing the point of this monitor.

Firstly this is a 120hz screen intended for the 3d Gaming scene, so why the screen wasn't tested for HD was incredible and made the review pointless.

Added to that there is no mention of its bigger brother which is gets a great review at Toms Hardware when pitched up with the upcoming ACER 120hz.

I therefore expect you all to omit all the negative comments and look for other sources, rather than trust the first thing you see.

In my conclusion of looking around at review sites the 23" version of the Alienware is by far the best 3D Gaming monitor there is and no one wanting 3D will go for a smaller screen if there is a bigger one out there. As 3D gaming is aimed at enthusiasts, we wont mind splashing out if it means we get the best possible system. And as 3D goes, the bigger the screen the better the depth of field.

Not sure why I don't get hired in some online hardware site, is being me as I check what my partners are saying before jumping the gun and looking like a fool. Hint Hint, Mr Webster!)

I'd be inclined to agree, but the matter of the cheap panel still bugs me to no end.

As most have said, no 3D until someone makes 120hz H-IPS panels or 120hz S-PVA panels. Professional monitors > Enthusaist Bling monitors.
