happend last friday, but thought id let people know of the greatness. it started at 10pm and ended at 8am, there where about 25 people there, of which about 10 (i was one of them:rock:  ) made it through the whole 10 hours, only cost £25 and that included drinks, snacks and breakfast!!! it was so much fun, better than usual cuase we got to play capture the flag, last man standing, even some games with freindly fire enabled!! and one game took place in the reception area instead of the arena, that really rocked. if u live near guildford i recomend u check it out, although judging by the tired looks on the employees faces im not sure it will happen again :sigh:

on another note, has anyone been to lazer quest recently, have you seen the latest "pro" tactics. they dance around like cake boys so you cant shoot them :grr: but because they're doing that they cant hit you either  that just added to the entertainment of it.

if they do it agian, go there, its soo much fun!

There's a place in Rhyl, and the walls arn't full size, so you can lie on top of them :) Sniper mode :)

The one in newcastle has a wall with a hole in from which you can see about 80% of the arena and the only path to where you are.

I am such a camping whore.

No that's at the metro center...The one I'm tlaking about is in North Dhields (not technically Newcastle either...)

Interesting fact: Byker Grove isn't filmed in byker....

Interesting fact #2: I'm dating a girl from Denton Burn...the 'enemy' in Byker Grove.

I went to laser quest for the first time a couple of months back. It was two half hour games or somthing. I go round running round and shooting everyone. Admittedly though it was boys vs. girls and the girls just went around in a group. A couple of bursts of fire running past a gap and bingo!

Although I did manage to hit some of my own by this way of shooting (ie shoot the lights) that and I find it hard to distinguish between some colours :(

Good fun though, no-one in the group let us play all vs all.

They have taken down our lazer quest in reading :waah: :waah: :waah: As in totally destroyed it boohoo. It was so much fun the first time i went was with the uni badminton team and i came second. Last few times i have been on Oxford with Haz and his mates, tis quite good cos i usually beat him:p Thoguht tis annoying when you go in hoping to tplay a nice adult game with mates and they tell you you have to go and play with a group of 15 ten year olds who are all on the other team. You can't move for one of them hitting you ! Having said that they were all camped out on top somewhere so i let one of them hit me then i charged them. never seen so many scared kiddies in my life and I'm only 5 foot tall!! Heeheee

i have to agree, no matter how much fun the all night lazer quest was, it didn't compare to paintballing, although it is cheaper.

cake boys = dancing queens, the type of people you see on things like ibiza uncovered...not that id ever watch that kind of thing. :worried:

Not a big fan of lazer q. The one in edinburgh is really rubbish. The guns dont work and the scenery is dire. I wanna try paintball  that looks like fun.

the only laser quest near me shut down as the manager ran off to spain with all the cash :( and the only other one near me (southampton) was replaced by quasar which sucks cos quasar guns are about as accurate as some of the "guided" missiles :( and the equipment generally sucks

ho hum one day ill make a set of IR HBLT guns and go play on the beach with mates when i can afford the bits :(

wish i went to that 10 hour 1 tho :( not fair

EDIT: ron like the av :D

Ten years ago I was a member at the very same Guildford lazer quest, not sure i should be admitting that, lol!

Having said that, it is a good lazer quest, and really near, cos i live in woking up the road.

I had my 13 th birthday there too
