I'm with you on this one, I don't actually like rollercoasters much, they make me feel ill and i don't like that . But i decided to go up to alton on a freshers only trip in june (end of year celebration thing) and Air was great! Don't know if it was the position you sit (lie? hang?) in or what but it didn't make me feel ill and i was like "w000haaaa!!!!" all the way round. The others i went on weren't so fun, some might even say dull. I bottled out of Oblivion 'cause i was ****ing scared just looking at it!11?!!! Duel was not in the slightest bit scary and didn't even make me jump (was light enough for me to see what was about to happen ) and my gun didn't work... which was lame. The log flume was fun, but then i always find them fun The run away mine train was dull, and of dubious safety, and my legs felt squashed in (I'm not very slightly built). The rollercoaster in the dark was alright, but not as much fun as Air and queued longer for it Of course, some people have some kind of iron makeup or something and find all these scary looking rollercoasters easy. One of my friends was really pleased with himself for getting into the lotus position for the camera on nemesis... *mutters* Despite hating rollercoasters, given the choice i would go on Air again, it r0x0red and didn't make me feel ill or give me the feeling of impending doom (unlike vampire ride which i was convinced was going to fall apart)
The Minetrain is a little boring except, when the ride operator decides to let the train go round 6 (instead of 2) times. You really get the idea of how a runaway train should be! All sorts start running through your head......are we meant to have stopped by now..........Oh, I wonder if the brakes are working....................surely were going to catch up with the other train any moment...............................ok..........worried now..... Finally the ride operator stops the train, and you breathe a sigh of relief, just thankful that you got off!
My mate went on the runaway mine train and shat himself. Its amazing how scared he is by the most pitiful of rides He tried to get right down in the seat but because hes a small lad he almost got under the restraints
I used to be like that about all rollercoasters, but one day it just kinda "clicked" and now i cant find one extreme enough
I went to Alton Towers last year and went on oblivion as the first ride of the day I was a tad nervous but the rush it gives u is great! all the other rides seam tame compaired.
haha ou7blaze with the weak stomache...hehe The only time i remember feeling really sick was at bush Gardens (i know i spelt it wrong!). it was early morning, the park was real empty and we went on the Montu 10 or 11 times wivout a que. Ohh my stomache began to churn!
yea Topthrill dragster got mentioned earlier on in this thread. But it would be stupid for AT to get one cos it would jus be copying! Plus seeing AIR cost 12million they wont be building nething big for a year or two!
ermm ok then. My sister is 12 btw...prolly to young for u! And she is at that time of her life where is is a right biatch!
How old are you? I think she's a bit young for most people on these forums surely? Edit: Damn, beat me to it
I went to florida in Febuary.. and i can tell you Busch Gardens and all the other Florida Theme Parks totally OWN!!! Montu and Kumba are sweet as, i got a well good photo on Montu. I can't remember the name of the big wooden rollercoaster at the front of Busch but that has a really cool drop in it that makes your tummy go all funny, we tricked my mate who is scared of coasters that it would be fine.. never heard him scream so much and so high
