Hehe, you sound like my mum! Whenever I used to have a clear out she used to bung everything up into the loft. Nowadays, she can hardly get up there for all the old rubbish! Personally, i say get rid of it!:hehe:

My mum is terrible like that, she won't throw ANYTHING away! I'm only that way with computer stuff. I've got an AWE 64 sitting in front of me now (remember those?) that I just can't bear to throw away. I'll probably put it in my little bro's comp to replace his crappy Crystal thingy.

No, if it makes you feel any better at all, last time I moved (six years ago) I found boxes and boxes of stuff that I hadn't looked in, but had been dragging around, for over 20 years *sigh* all stuff that SHOULD have been long gone, but couldn't handle parting with it. You aren't alone :)

My mother is the opposite... if it's old and not used... THEN IT'S GOTTA GO!

Ornaments have a specific round in our house... first there's pride of place on top of the fireplace, then they get moved to the big cabinet down one wall... then they'll make an appearance on the glass shelves at the end of the hallway, then if she likes them a lot they'll make an appearance in one of the bathrooms... the office is the last resort... if it's in the office its doomed, shortly after it ends up in a charity shop, or given to my cousin.... :D

I'm actually quite good at chucking out junk. Where as the rest of my family like to keep loads of stuff. The only stuff I hate binning is tech / gadgets you never know when they are going to come in handy.
