Amazon's handling charges...were sending via space shuttle..

    Found this at the register ....

    snippet:

    Here's one for two books, totalling £14.58.

    Subtotal:14.58 GBP


    Delivery Charge: 3.34 GBP
    Total: 3,286,640.44 GBP

    more and more of these internet related glitches happening lately.. the Compaq laptop and Best Buy Geforce4 stories come to mind..

    thats funny, someone should try to return a book and make a cool million. its pretty easy to understand why amazon doesnt make a profit

    I think Amazon made it's first profit this year actually.. although I could have been dreaming :rolleyes: :D

    I think amazon is a pretty good online shop don't you think? Lot's of stuff and information, and a nice looking site too. I don't think it's bad!

    relix, its pretty amazing the amount of stuff they sell. they surprize me everytime. I dont think they have any ethical issues and have pretty good customer service. It's just funny they can't make a profit(or just did this year)

    I've got a lot of very obscure books and music from Amazon and they've always been very helpful, not to mention cheap.
