    Hi all,

I have built a photo booth and I use my laptop which is a first gen i7 Q720 1.6GHz to run it. My laptop has some thermal issue and will randomly overheat and shut down which is very frustrating. My laptop is also quite large and has made the booth excessively large so I am thinking of building a mini ITX PC to use just in the booth.

My laptop is actually a little slow for the booth it takes too long after it has taken the 4 pictures to process them especially if green screen is involved so I need something with more grunt than my Q720.

Like most people I am an Intel man but Intel based mini ITX systems are quite expensive so I am thinking of putting an AMD system together but I have no idea what the current socket is and CPU compares to what.
