Looks nice to me. Don't know anything about AMD motherboards though.
    What HDDs?
Also, for £650 that should be a pretty sweet machine.
You could save money by not going with a Lian-Li case though. Bit-Tech seems to rate Akasa cases pretty highly, and Akasa are always cheap. However, I'm not sure they do a good box case like that.

cheers, i'm just hopeing I'll be able to unlock the 4th core, read a few forums and guys with same M/B have been able to but need to get a CPU batch number
H/D i'm undecided, probably go for a 320GB Samsung spinpoint

Unlocking the 4th core isn't really a reliable way to improve performance, I'm told that most three-core processors are quad-cores with a faulty core, or an underperforming core. And don't downrate your motherboard choice just to get one with the possibility of unlocking the 4th core.

The Samsung Spinpoint's get good reviews :)
I'm more inclined to far larger sizes though, the ~1TB drives are in the price sweet spot right now I believe (most GB/£).

I doubt there is a better matx 790/750SB M/B then the Dfi Jnr
Not fussed it get a free core or not but will be a bonus. Some are faulty and some disabled.
Will see how it works out, if 4th core is stable on Prime95 at 3.0Ghz I'd be happy.

yeah, the triple cores are quad cores with the 4th core under the other three in performance and disabled as well. I would just shell out the extra cost and get a Phenom II x4. Way better choice...

I don't think paying another 65quid for a forth core is worth it, ie X4 920 BE
    besides i can't afford it
the X3 720BE is a sweet price and great performance as it is, just saying the option is there to enable the 4th core and depending on luck it will be stable but if its not no worries
I'm not building the machine in the hope to enable the forth core, would rather have a OC'd 3.8Ghz X3 then a 2.8Ghz X3 with forth core enabled anyday
