    I hope this thing gives those cheap core 2 duos a run for their money. *crossed fingers for better overclocking than phenom ii x3's and x4's* cmon 4ghz on air!

    Will we be getting a review of this? Im in the market for a faster dual core. This is very relavent to my interests.

    Looks nice in a "because they can do it" kind of way, but only a review will prove if it's a better buy than the Phenom II X3 720 BE.

    Is it that AMD have too many quads on their hands or something? Because I'd have thought that unless you were fairly lucky, getting one of these chips and unlocking the extra cores would stand a good chance of presenting a core either broken in style or not capable of running at the speeds given.

    But then, AMD aren't saying 'buy our dual cores and get a free upgrade to quad core with xyz motherboard' so if a chip doesn't work, no one can go crying... ;)

    ~£75 is still pretty good value considering the E8400 is £130

    £70 for a 250

    cracking value considering if your lucky u can turn it into a 3.1ghz quad core with no issues and if luckier can have it stable at 3.6ghz
