can someone tell me why AMD is wiping off the XP 1500 and 1600 but keeping the Durons?... I was wanting to get a 1500 for my son's computer and you can't hardly find them anymore...

    :eyebrow:

BTW- I got a retail 1800 XP two weeks ago for $111 so this is slightly BS anyhoo... only noobs walking into their local shop would pay these prices but found it interesting

Hmm. a bit different from what I heard. They say they're slashing the prices down and will make the Durons obsolete, and have the t-birds at Duron prices. This is for them to get ready for the T-breds release.
