Looks better than leaks suggested, not by orders of magnitude... but enough. (once you strap on a proper cooler)

 

Shame we're a month away from seeing any custom cooler solutions, because this reference unit seems a bit lame. Guess we'll need to wait and see what the AIBs can come up with... eventually.

 

This first Navi launch is putting me very much in mind of the Zen 1 launch. It heralds a return to competitiveness, but isn't yet properly besting the opposition. Let's hope that we see continued improvements with the next 2 gens as we did with Zen.

 

Really liking what AMD have pulled out the bag here, genuine performance parity, without being completely out of the same power bracket (like Radeon VII).

An X570, 3700X, 5700X machine has some lovely sounding synergy to it (as well as a boat load of performance).
