This benchmark video has the 6900 XT producing 100-120fps @ 4k/high settings in Warzone.
My 5700 XT produces 50-60fps @ 4k/high settings in Warzone.
If the 6700 XT is expected to be half as powerful as a 6900 XT, then it looks like it is the same as a 5700 XT.
Well, the 6700 XT core configuration looks identical to 5700 XT, both have 2560 stream processors and 40 compute units. I expect the new card to be more feature rich (Dx12 ultimate) and slightly more optimised 5700 XT, nothing more.
It uses less powa, bitch. <- that is the take-away.
Given the performance boosts we've seen with this generation of graphics cards, wouldn't it have been better to name the 6500XT - same performance as last generation, but lower down the new generation's performance table?
AMD isn't afraid to re-position their product stack using new generation.
I had a Radeon HD 5870, AMD released HD 6870 replacing 5770 and about same speed as 5870 (similar to current 3070 compared to 2080 Ti).
Which quarter will it actually be available in shops
