    About time!
AMD are not helping themselves in the GPU wars with their lacklustre approach to updating drivers to support/optimise games when they are released.
There has been only a handful of releases in the past 12 months for AMD drivers compared to Nvidias approach of a new driver for every major game release and more in-between.

Shame the Nvidia drivers have been poor though.

AMD stopped the monthly update crap which was getting painful most did not know what issues the install would cause and never updated anyway. 3-4 launches a year has improved the quality over quantity that it was before.

Nvidia does a new release for every game they sponsor about 8-12 a year it works out and with most new gpu launches.

Most people are probably at least 2-3 driver Revisions behind anyway.

    Do they even test this?

My 2x HD7970's matrix platinum are with lots of problems.

1 - one of the cards is at 1050mhz in the GPU, the other is at 1100 (stock). I get loads of lag every 2 seconds. Had to switch crossfire off and on again everytime I reboot my pc.

2 - playing GTA V (only tested), when i hit pause, the game lowera to 6fps... In the pause menu 6fps!!

3 - one of the GPUs enters in safe mode in GTA V and in 3dmark after a few minutes... One is at 500mhz and the other at 1100mhz...

    What the hell AMD?
