    chipping away.... go AMD

    offering XP processors and nvidia video... sounds like HP would be better off without Compaq :idea:

    I suppose it can't hurt. I'm personally not a fan OEM machines. Maybe this one will be decent.
    I'm hoping the legal issues block the merger/buyout of Compaq, Fiorina gets fired and they get
    a real CEO. Then I may buy HP products again.

    From the bad news dept. AMD makes a blunder (IMO) when it comes to my decision making.
