Ah, I see. In that case, cool. I like Fawlty Towers, and John Cleese os one of my favorite actors! I also like to watch "Are You Being Served" and "Last of the Summer Wine" on PBS. On the DVD set for "Are You Being Served" they had the pilot episode for "Allo Allo," and I have to say it had beena long time since I laughed that hard! -monkey
word! and no adverts, thats... AGH! You ought to suffer adverts, not get an ad free channel on our money! raaaahhhh!
After 2 minutes searching I found this on the BBC America web site: There's also 'BBC Canada','BBC World' and various others. I believe that any profits gained from advertising on these channels goes towards the running of the Beeb.
BBCA is just the american branch of the BBC... Up until recently, it showed eastenders (albeit 2 weeks behind what we see).. Why are we paying for American channels, though?
yeah exactly. at least they have commercials (or so they say). If they didnt have commercials there would be an uproar... by me! wecould tell the press! thats really down the BBC, and they may even lose the licencing money so i have heard, which im against cause then they would have to have adverts, which would be rubbish.
