get the xl, and wash in HOT water. most us companies do not use pre-shrunk t-shirts, no matter what they say. also, we tend to wear our t-shirts (not proper undershirts, mind you) about 2-3 sizes too big. personally i can get away with a xlt undershirt, but prefer pocket t's , etc.. to be at least a 2xlt or a 3x. gives you room to move about.

dude i work for a retail company n the american sizes are minus 4 compares to uk sizes ,,,,so med UK=small US

Even in my local area, if you wore that shirt in the Flowers Estate (local dodgy place) you'd get f***ing battered. AH
