So my iTunes library is now located on my external drive because it's just not practical to keep on my laptop's HDD anymore. But I'm running into annoyances with tracks not linking up. I've imported a new album whilst disconnected from my external drive and whilst iTunes was open it decided to go through a random selection of my library and mark a shedload of songs as 'not there', ie. with that little exclamation mark thing. Of course, with the drive connected these songs play fine but to lose the exclamation mark and allow these songs to play on Shuffle I'd have to go through and play each one... And there's like 500 of them. No ta! Any suggestions? And is this gonna do this everytime? What a joke.
