    http://www.gamers-depot.com/ed/ati_open/001.htm

Gamer's Deport have posted an open letter to ATI, and whilst I agree with what has been said, I feel that NVIDIA are guilty of a lot of things this year too, and it's a shame that they have got off fairly scott free in this particular article.

Also, HyperMemory is *kind of* already in existance, and was around before TurboCache was officially announced, as it is part of the RS480 Chipset: http://www.beyond3d.com/previews/ati/rs480/index.php?p=2

However, we have to ask when we will see both GeForce 6200 with TurboCache and also ATI's RS480 chipset in retail products... so at the moment they're still enclosed in yet another "pissing" contest.

What do you guys think? :)

very interesting. i hope ATi responds and that website posts the response. ATi is going all crazy recently. even the 256-bit 9800 pros that sell really well are getting preatty rare. :sigh:

    Very interesting indeed.

It wouldnt be so bad if when they do flop nvidia's flip, you can actually buy the retail product.

Overall, I think ATI and their partners need to get themselves sorted before they start (or continue?) to waste all the progress they've made in the last few years....

I believe some sort of ATI employee/ representative is floating around Hexus forums, perhaps we could ask him to comment?

I am in contact with various ATI employee's... the comment will only come from the top though, I would have thought.
