Actually quite a nice comparison. Good for taking a quick look at the performance difference between some two cards.

Really great link, easier and quicker to use than the old Tom's Hardware resources (when it comes to current cards, of course).

The CPU bench is handy as well but it is let down by not listing all CPU's (I went looking for an E6600 C2D for example).

Very interesting site thanks for the link.

Looking at my next potential CPU upgrade shows some suprising results!

I currently have a C2D E8400, and my board will take a quad core, so looking at all the quads......There are none that really out do the E8400?

Granted the Q9650 has the measure on it in about half the tests, but is it really worth me upgrading the chip?!!

Depends what you want to do. For games, probably no - but if you do a lot of encoding or graphical/video work (that can use the extra cores) then yes. :)

Not well. No real life benchmarks there at all. Just a load of performance tests. While an alright indicator of performance, it isn't really specific enough.

Come to think of it, I can't really remember the last time that I read or even noticed 3DMark scores on review sites. They're there, but I skip them. And the enthusiasts too, benchmarking using 3DMark and similar tools seem to be less common, people are really focusing more on real-world performance, like in games, which is great.

I was a bit dissapointed it wasn't as compulsive, but it's still a pretty good comparsion. Even if it lacks anything pre-HD4xxx and the G80.
