Watching it right now. It's really interesting stuff. However the dude in the hat scares me somewhat.
this is an amazing program, i'm a dunce at biology but this is been explained really well. and the german in the hat reminds me of my functional programming lecturer
HAHA He *had* to be German didnt he. Cool as anything, and freakishly quick with the tools. Disections are cool, but having a real dead person, skinned hanging up for them to cut his spinal cord out feels kinda harsh on the poor guy, even though he's not exactly needing his body anymore. Hope it was warm in that studio too for the poor naked guy (live one). He had a couple of lass' sitting right up close too
Wasnt this on quite sometime ago? I remember it causing quite an upset, and the german guy with the funny hat sounds very familier. At the time the show was live and loads of people from my class watched it. Intresting stuff!
I saw about 30 secs then turned it over made me feel sick. They could have put it on later if you ask me, as I was channel surfing and saw him skin the man.
its 11pm ffs! thats perfectly late enough (too late in my mind, its a lot more educational and generally better quality tv than most soaps.)
Agreed, should be on at primetime tbh. I missed 1/2 of it last night but did see the lung movement which was amazing.
I thought last nights was really interesting. Filling and deflating and the artificial blood was amazing!
I meant to watch this on monday and tuesday, but kept forgetting. Watching it now, and christ, that's not how i imagined a cadaver to be totally honest. Although it's drained, it's a lot fleshier and a lot more solid than i thought. The German guy is something else though. He's like something from the League Of Gentlemen or something.
