Ive sorted that problem now, i was sending 12v straight to pin 8, Vss. when it should be earthed.

I just wanted to know if there are some checks I can do before I put my last 4029 chip in so I know it wont blow

Ok, Ive had enough with this circuit now, I have re-done this circuit with everything that was suggested, Ive been over it with a fine stick making sure all the trcks are right, and its fine, but NOOOOOO it still dont bloody work.

Instead now, All three colours come on when you plug it in, then immediatly the LEDs conected to Q2 and Q3 of the IC2 chip fade slowly and the LED conected to Q1 stays on, and on, and on and nothing else happens.

    What is going on here.

My email address is Rascal1001@Hotmail.com if you want me to send you a copy of the PCB I have done to you acrimonious.

Please someone help before I loose my mind!!!!! :wallbash: :wallbash: :wallbash: :wallbash: :wallbash: :wallbash: :wallbash: :wallbash: :wallbash: :wallbash: :wallbash: :wallbash: :wallbash: :wallbash: :wallbash: :wallbash: :wallbash:

Ive tried that, Ive changed the VR1 to a 220K to speed it up and tested the 555 with an LED to make sure it had speeded up, still no change.

None, other than your board was routed incorrectly.
