I'm betting a Titan Fenrir will still do better.

Can anyone think of a case that would fit that beast? A Mountain Mods maybe?

This is up there with the Scythe Orochi and those huge Thermalright heatsinks, tbh I'd buy one. Scythe usually has low prices.

Edit: $100, if it works well as a passive cooler I'd still build a PC around it.

I would like to see one that extends to a GPU also, that would be even more mentally pointless

That's completely unnecessary. It doesn't even look that efficient, either.

Does it really work well or just try and take off?

I reckon it was designed in mm but someone couldn't read the designer's writing and it was produced in cm, mistakes do happen. :D

It's "just" 160 mm tall, which is the exact same number as the NH-D14 (though does the 160 include the fans?). Sure, it's larger in the other dimensions, but IMO the pictures make it look even larger than it is. Proper mounting can also take the load, so what bothers me instead of the design. I haven't seen a single case where the fin and fan direction would make any sense whatsoever. In passive cooling it's even more important, so what's the point of this one?

That thing would pull the entire CPU socket out of the motherboard, then fall through the acrylic side panel of my PC to flatten my hands and keyboard.
