Think I just got this today. What has changed? What have they hidden or make harder to find? After the last one it took me a while to get back to some sort of comfortable usage with my Moto G 3rd Gen. But i admit I am a bit slow. So anyone who has had this update a while and has used it can you share enlightenment?
I think you may be mistaken - are you sure you didn't have a minor update? Settings > About Phone > Android Version
No, you didn't. It's not out as an over-the-air update until next week, and even then only for unlocked Nexus devices. It'll be a few months until it appears on your Moto G - if it gets released for it at all.
Ahh OK, well I certainly got a biggish software update this morning. I wonder what it was? I did a quick Google and obviously jumped to the wrong conclusion. Cheers guys.
Don't care what they've changed, so long as they give you the option to ****ing block numbers on your phone...
I can already. From the call log, you can disable incoming calls from specific numbers. Select the number you want to block then hit the 3-dot menu icon in the upper right corner > Add to reject list. This will disable incoming calls from specific numbers. Some Android phones just won't block phone calls that easily!
A couple months ago (after the "Stagefright" kerfuffle) Google began pushing out monthly security updates.
Sister got an update on her moto g 3rd gen, main thing is it's changed the way the app list is displayed. Rather than scrolling horizontally, and having a grid of apps, it's now a vertical scrolling list, which doesn't seem as good to me, but then it's not my phone so I'm not bothered,
