been asked for an android app - that can sync calendar on both a galaxy smart phone and a kindle fire. eg - both have same calendar data now either im being tired and brain dead or I cant think of 1.
Sounds very interesting to me, an android app that can sync calendar on both smartphone and kindle.. Hope any app developers here can read our post and come up with some solution.. I'm interested on this one too..
ferret by default you cant access google play on a kindle fire (its not there) - kindle fire has a walled garden approach for apps. (amazon only)
jorte calender?? ita avialable on both app stores http://www.amazon.com/Jorte-Inc-Calendar/dp/B008KYOCA2 https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=jp.co.johospace.jorte&hl=en works well enough, has lots of options on the widget front (and for me on the note, 5 icons wide is my main liking for it) only significant issue I've had with it is the agenda view doesn't give locations as standard (I was using it for uni timetable, so remembering what rooms meant opening the app, rather than just seeing where it was as well as time and what it was.)
I'm really surprised but it seems the Fire doesn't sync multiple Google Calendars out of the box. Maybe you could use Easy Installer to sideload the real Google Calendar App?
its THE reason my wife did a return on hers after only 5 days - the tablet is a nice piece of kit - especially the Fire HD - its just the limitations are sadly quite apparent. And she`s not really nerd level techy either - yet loves her galaxy tab!
