Howdy I use an Alpine IDA x300 in my car and connect to my iphone for music, this allows me to control music on the headunit or through the phone. I'm considering getting an Android phone next but want same ability on the stereo, it has a USB connection which I have tested with a phone, it detects the music and plays BUT i can't use the phone to control anything. Are there any Android music apps that stay active when playing music when docked?
tried poweramp? i use it with line in on my stereo but im pretty certain it has the option to do what you want among is many bells and whistles
Is there an app from Alpine that lets you do what you want? I have a pioneer head unit with Bluetooth, and there it's a special app for controlling it (although it's not very good...)
