I bought a replacement 3390.... also bought a 8290..... will probably buy a replacement screen as well as replacement LEDs for the broken 3390... and the 8290--> 8890 conversion kit for the 8290... maybe do LEDs on that too
You know what they say about Duck Tape... I've been known to throw phones before, luckily never broke any because I'm too poor to afford a new phone Usually I just punch something soft and inanimate.
