As little discussion as it seems to get around here, I'm willing to bet I'm not the only one here who has a soft spot for a bit of Japanese animation/drawn literature, so I figured I'd make this thread and try and draw you all out of hiding, discuss anything you like about it really. Fave series, now watching, etc. (Or flame me and call me a n00b, whichever floats your boat). My personal fave series are Escaflowne, Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, and Outlaw Star. Right now I'm watching GunXSword, and its pretty interesting so far. Been trying to get into Eureka 7 too, but so far its downloaded too slowly and I only have the first ep. Manga-Wise I love Rurouni Kenshin.
Death Note Cheesecake. Seriously one of the most interesting shows I've watched in a long time anime or not. Bebop was the first series I watched (used Kazaa to download crappy rips). Also good are the full metal panic series, always make me laugh.
Unfortunate truth. I figured if there was one it was dead because I've not seen it on the first couple of pages here since I joined, alas I am wrong and it is merely very inactive. Oh well.
Fair enough really tbh - it was a squash-in from the Entertainment forum, it used to be on the first couple of pages there all the time, but since the reshuffle it's not been resurrected, yet.
Aren't you a nice guy. I'll make a point to use the search function next time I want to scratch my ass, just to check someone hasn't done it before. God forbid I piss off the Fuhrer.
Sorry mate, im in a crap mood tonite. but try and keep new threads to a minimum due to the new filter system the GD gets rather crowded and most threads on pretty much all subjects have been most likely been covered, thats why i would search first then post.
Escaflowne hands down for sure. Naruto, Witch Hunter Robin, Ergo Proxy (pronounced "Erugo Purakushi" ), Gundam Wing/Endless Waltz, Cowboy Bebop Movie, Koi Kaze (very unsettling). For the adult/Hentai crowd, I've seen "Lingeries Office" Ep. 1-3 briefly. Not my flavour of anime and the remarkably broken story wasn't too hard to follow. FYI: I don't watch anime anymore.
I've started watching Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai and I'm a bit worried by sexual nature of parts considering the girls look about 8 years old.
