    I do wonder if they'll tweak the employment mechanic, to make it more like pharaoh etc where unemployment is something you have to care about.

    It's a new mechanic to anno games regardless though so don't think it's a huge issue, and arguably an improvement as now at least you have to care a certain degree about number of people vs number of factories etc, whereas previously you didn't (not that I felt that was an issue)

    Can't wait to play the game later today. I just hope my 3570K will be somewhat up to the task.

    I played the open beta with a 3770K @4.1GHz, 16 GB RAM and a 1080Ti. Never dipped below 45 FPS (fast panning around while zooming in or out). Normally I'd stay over 60 FPS. Overall I consider this to be perfectly playable.

    Awesome, thanks! Anything above 30 fps is fine for a strategy game.

    One of the few games I'm actually looking forward to, just have to wait for it to drop in price before I can justify another game in my queue!
