annoying flash

    I'm browsing using my college computer and therefor am restricted on my account and cannot install flash. Every time I load a page I get 3 or 4 macromedia popups in my face urging me to install flash that's a real pain in the...

    I take it it's the overclocking store's add that does that. Could you ask them if they could fixe it.

    It's more of a browser defect, that it won't record your preference not to install flash. It's not the sponsor's fault (entirely).

    I'll see if there's a way we can code around it though.

    Well no not really a browser defect. There must a frikin' js sending all those darn popups

    Your browser is telling you it needs to install flash.. and you don't, so next time it tells you again.

    That sounds like the browser to me. All we have is the actual flash animations, no Javascript code doing anything exciting.

    You need to talk to your admins to see if they can suppress the installation requests.
