Annoying Internet Connection Problem....

Hello all. After installing SP2 (I think) this pop up window has started to come up when I try to connect to the internet/MSN Messenger even when I already am. It gets annoying as I need to to it every time I boot the PC up!! Oh, and another thing, is there a way to get the ADSL to boot up and connnect with the PC so I dont need to manually connect? You need to remove all the othe dial ups bar the one you actually use.

And to get it to autostart, create a dialup shortcut and dump it in the start folder.

Has anyone got any ideas about the annoying pop up box?

 

Get rid of Service pack 2. Just download critical updates.

 

I dont think I can think of deleting SP2 as it makes the security window look good and I cant be bothered in future stopping downloads of it, please anyone any ideas?

 

SP2 is not spyware, it does not download itself. Disable automatic updating and then manually update.
