Just received this from Microsoft Network Support, on closer inspection, it comes from sindphts-538971@WxmFLVs.net and comes with a 'supposed' patch in the form of an executable Do they really think we are THAT stupid ?
The email did actually look pretty genuine, I'm just glad my mum didn't find it, she would have probably fell for it
The instant I saw it I was suspicious. That kind of text only appears on the Windows Update page and the Windows Update downloader thing. It's no problem for me to figure out it's a virus - what get's me is how many other people will fall for it
I keep getting them from 'support@microsoft.com' telling me to open the program up and get there new screensaver Almost as good as Bill emailing me offering me a job at Microsoft for $90k + flying me over and giveing me a house al to work on WMP Um.. maybe I should of taken that job
