    The longest standing land speed record has been broken by a British team out in the Mojave Desert:

    Reports that the team immediatley put the kettle on after the successful runs for a nice cup'o'tea are unfounded. They just used the car... :lol:

    The last few attempts tried to follow the normal LS record to closely and ended up with a carbon fibre boiler :D

    139MPH, that all? Ah, steam car, hmm.

    When it's at Beauleui it's worth visiting because Top Gear are there for the next few months and the exhibition is fun to see. I know how many Top Gear fans there are here!
