Hi, This is my first mod but i think i worth the look. I would have done a project log but i have lost my pictures. This is 2'' abs, the one on the top is empty, not the lower one. It is a reservoir for the water. Here we can se the setup for the watercooled system. and here is a shot with the light on. I will post more picture soon, but currently i don't have my camera.
Thanks Here is some other shot of the right side of the computer. We can see the mouse stand ( because I have a wireless mouse that need a stand to recharge) This mod isn't finished yet so that's why there is no paint job. Hope it will give some idea for somebody.
and some other shot from the inside This is the in (first) and out (second) of the reservoir. and this is the radiator (120mm) with 2 80mm fan mount on it.
well this is because the pump wasn't on when the shot was taken. Actually I don't have any problem with air because of the big reservoir, but this make a little water sound. And i can't put more water in it because of the lack of an easy fill system.
No t-line? When your water level goes down how are you going to refill it. Also isnt it hard to tell if your water level is going down without a clear res?
For refilling it, i simply remove the tube here. and with caution for not putting water everywhere. and we can see here the curent level of water in my system when the pump is off
lmao dude, hardly a worry at all. Its a good fit for a pipe. I got 2 X tank o matic's on top of my case - S
Can't you drill a hole in the top of the res and use a rubber bung to plug it shut? cos that air isn't going to do any good. Unless you really like sloshing sounds while your PC is running. Cool idea though!
I have test the system for severals days with just the pump powered and everythings looks fine. I don't worry about it because I had a lot of dificulties just to squeeze the tube in. thanks, but it's kind of cheap. I used a metal sheet and to stick it to the radiator i used some cheap tape. I have think of that and in my original plan there was a kind of thing like that. But i didn't like the look of it. So i didn't put it. But don't worry about the sound you need to put the ear less than 10 cm to ear it.
