I am after some speakers to use with some work kit.

Need to be 2.0 and LOUD. Sound quality is not overly important as they will be used nearly exclusively for synthesized voices.

Must be loud enough to be heard in a very busy exhibition space.

Can anyone recommend anything better than the t20's?

If you can do a 2.1 some SP2500's will be more than enough...

If overall volume is what your after, I'd be looking at active PA systems rather than a desktop speaker set. Something like this or this perhaps.

    Budget?

If under £100 then Microlab Solo6c? Or the 7c?

    Thanks for the replies.

Really dont want to go 2.1 as we struggle for space to sit the sub and the extra work in setting up and packing away is a pain in the bum.

Budget is cheap as poss, like normal, because its work and we need around 10 sets of them so really 50-60 max.

To clarify the volume, you only need to be able to hear from at most 4' from the speakers as there are many small items to demo.

    So any new ideas?
