That i've seen extremely rarely myself. I know i've been carded quite a lot in the past few years for 18 rated games, and i'm 28!

Can't find any UK figures, but heres some US ones

Notice how the stats are completely at odds with the levels of the perceived problem in the general public/media?

    Now THIS is the problem.
But what on earth can you do with parents that simply don't care about what their children are doing, but happy to point their finger on the nearest convenient scapegoat if their child does something wrong?

This particular incident is even better, you could only get said hot coffee part by physically modding the game, (which requires mod-chips, cd-burners and technical know-how for the console version) so you invalidate the rating to get to that point anyway

I agree on that one, never understood why the emphasis is so backwards :sigh:

over 18 games are fun, as they are inherently popular, using the myth that violent games creates rapist murderers who rape then we should all be raping and killing.

or it would give you a sense of reality that mortality is finite and we should enjoy ourselves as we are all just a very bright, short spark in the darkness of the universe.

I think people just have to have something to blame, first it was books, then music, then films, now video games...

Of course I've always wondered why Birth Control was a bad thing but...
