Samsung B-die ... the most likely to work at high speeds in Ryzen systems. (As usual, results may vary, silicon lottery and so-on applies)

As others have said, it's the go-to mem chips for overclocking.

B-die iirc refers to the chip design revision, So for example you have Samsung B-Die, Micron H-Die, Hynix A and M-Die.

And to echo what others have said -

Samsung B-Die is preferable iirc because it can do high speed/low latency quite easily [3200MHz @ CAS14 being the sweet spot it seems] and some of the others [Hynix iirc] didn't/don't play nice with ryzen.

Hynix memory, to be fair sucks.

The RAM table suggests mostly run of the mill high CAS stuff, prolly Micron or Hynix.
Hynix does indeed suck the big one, for Ryzen builds. Pretty much 90% of Corsair stuff seems to be Hynix.

Will be good to hear the specifics.

No doubt a mix depending on the set from what this thread is making me believe.

RGB, sorry does nothing for me.

Just enough blue to light up my keyboard and mouse in the dark thanks.

The little bit that comes out the bottom of my Antec case is acceptable as it lets me see where the USB ports are.

Project X case looks like a potential lawsuit from Cougar over their Conquer model.
