Modding Antec Blue LED Fan

    Does anybody know the Watts and the Amps for these fans?
    Even Antec don't have that info on their web site.

    I want to connect them to a fanbus.


    I have four coming off one molex.


    They do look smart.......:dude:

    Got a meter?

    Measure the current, then Watts = Volts * Amps.

    i wouldent worry about it....an 80mm antec fan and 3 leds, are not going to over power anything........leds are generally milliamps each, so dont even worry about them......only downside of these fans are if your going to run tham at a lower voltage then usual, the lights dim with the fan....

    maybe you could try wiring up the leds seperately to the fan. :)

    Yep I've got a meter, I didn't think about wiring the led's up seperate.....
    Not a bad idea..........:idea:

    Does anyone know if you can get these clear fans with RED LED's? I love the bloo ones but i need red ones for my new project. If they're not available yet, will they be soon?

    go to RS.

    buy 2 red leds.

    desolder green and blue.

    solder in red.
