Ok, I think my Antec Neo is cabable of doing SLI, but I'm not entirely sure. I'm thinking of either getting another SLI power cable from Antec, or would a PCI spliter be stable enough?
PCI splitter? If I recall correctly basically all PCI-E video cards have a two molex to six pin connector adaptor; that will let you do SLI just fine.
if your neo says its sli ready it should have at least 2 PCI-E 6pin molexes on them. Most of the time video cards that are labeled for SLI sales will includ an adaptor.
Looks like it can to me - I have an Antec Neo 480 Usin a Neo 480 in Crucial build guide no problem.....http://sysbuild.corsairmemory.com/report.aspx?id=2&sid=11 Have they got a spare PCi power connector ? Matt
From searching around, it appears the Neopower 480W has 2 x 6-pin PCI-E connectors. It should run the cards just fine.
Reading through the user manual (my copy) for NEOPOWER 380/480 version 1.0.5 (5/5/04) Actually you only get one dedicated cable "PCI" 11. One set of wires with a 6-pin PCI Express graphic card connector at one end and a 6-pin PSU connector at the other end The key thing this will not be a problem most (all) Graphics cards are supplied with an adapter. http://www.antec.com/uk/productDetails.php?ProdID=05481# Please note you should have the power supplied on a different cable leading from the PSU to supply clean power. Alright, sweet deal...though I think I might be short a few power connectors, so I'll probably ditch my 120's and get a single large capacity drive. Oh, and the PCI spliter I was talking about is this dealy: http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=2664
