Ok, I'm in the process of making a movie, and I need some sound effects. Since I don't have any good audio recording equipment, I thought maybe some of you could record them for me... I need the sound of a pen/pencil (preferably both, so that we are free to choose during filming) falling from a desk and onto the floor. The floor is wooden, but covered with vinyl/linoleum. I'm not sure how relevant that information is, though. And I need the sound of a door opening (not the handle being turned or anything, just the movement of the door). I don't want the door to squeak, but I don't want it to be silent either. I just want some kind of low sound for it. If anyone wants to take on such a task, I could just send you the video of the door (not filmed yet) so that you could sync the audio and video. But the pencil/pen falling should be doable today... If anyone has pro equipment and wants to give it a shot. I can't do it myself because I know I will get background noise, no matter what. (You will be mentioned in the credits....)
I'll do it now. (This means running my Shure SM-57 from my soundcard downstairs to the kitchen (and It's lino)... What format you wanting? 24/96 wav 16/44.1 wav Ogg Vorbis MP3 WMA ...? *n
Erm... only if my Hotmail account is pop3... And - thanks for doing this. I'm looking forward to hearing the result. Now you deserve a place in the credits at least!
