Toggle switches are offered in 2, 3, and momentary positions. Switches are brushed aluminum looking and have a red colored lens at the very end that lights up when powered on.

These switches are samples from a vendor that my company is currently considering putting into our boat gauge and switch panels. There is a very good chance that I can get my hands on some for a decent price. If there is enough interest in them I will check on pricing.

    Welcome to the boards.

    That's good looking hardware.

I've seen the approximately same item at my hardware store for around US$10. They remind me of the switches in the pods in the Planet of the Apes remake. I'd be curious about the price, I bet those are watertight if you're speccing them for a marine application. I bet they'll come in higher than a tenner.

I'd be curious. They'd be fun to play with if the price was good. Serious baybus possibilities.

Well, I'm assumong that since its for a boat the lights prolly operate on 12v, but just want to make sure. I've noticed a lot of lighted switches want 120v AV 8( Those are pretty nice looking, I would be interested if they didnt cost too much.

As a point of reference, I got this SPST Calterm lighted switch at Wal-Mart for under three bux:

And it looks pretty damn similar to me except for the lack of an aluminum nut.
