Films Any good TV out there?

    Well my wife and I just finished the final season of 24 and after spending the past 3 months watching all 8 seasons back to back were now feeling a bit lost :(
    With Dexter not returning until the 26th of September were totally out of TV series to watch and were hoping to get some ideas :)

    Series We have watched and enjoyed with our key loves.

    24
    The OC
    Stargate SG1
    Dexter

    Now BSG has been suggested by just about every friend I have but I cant sway the other half into giving it a chance so thats off the table.. is there anything else out there worth watching?

    The West wing
    Entourage
    Sons of Anarchy

    The first two are landmark bits of telly and there's plenty of them (5 and 7 series respectively) while the second two are just programs that I enjoy and recommend. Entourage is probably the most girlfriend/wife friendly of the four (depending on your mrs of course)

    Rescue Me - the best show on TV

    It's up to Season 6 at the moment. Next year's final season is timed to reach its finale on the 10th anniversary of 9/11 - You have to watch it from the start though, the episodes/seasons aren't self-contained...

    Burn Notice, it's like a more serious chuck i guess. Really enjoying the first season atm. Other favourites include fringe, chuck, reaper (until they canned it).

    The Wire.

    Even though seasons 4 and 5 are poor by the series' high standards, they are far better than any other recent tv.

    me and my other half are doing exactly the same except we're just coming to the end of Lost and are looking for something else to start.

    Things I'd recommend though would be:

    Lost
    Castle
    The West Wing
    Dollhouse
    The Thick of It
    Heroes
    Stargate SG1
    Firefly

    all good stuff.
