im sure that card cant even run games that require 256mg ram.....waste of money...i think a fx5200 128meg card would be better option.

tbh..the fx5200..has more grunt than the ati card u showed...tbh..there arnt many pci cards around...and many of them are based on old technology....even tho the fx5200 is a dx9 based card it dosent have enough horsepower to actally show the full effects but its the best option.

You're still looking at a completely dead end. All PCI graphics cards are based on chipsets from several years ago. It doesn't have the bandwidth nor the market to justify placing anything else on it.

I'd really recommend replacing the motherboard with an AGP-specced model if you are even thinking of playing the latest games at good resolutions. If that's not an option, just get the best you can find.

The fx5500 can sometimes be worse than a 5200 because they are all 64bit memory cards. Some fx5200's are 128bits and are actualy decent low end cards. FYI a pci cheepo graphics card will cost more than a cheep agp socketed mobo that would let you run a way better card on it.

    From the ebay auction:
"This video card delivers blazing fast performance for todays most demanding applications and games. Experience unparalleled 3D visual realism with the advanced engineering of ATI technology backed by the latest software suite." - Made me laugh
