Im doing a planning thing for a fake A-Level courseworky thing, and was wondering what the basic method was to measuring the magnetic flux density inside a coil!

I know you use a hall probe, but its the way you do it which makes it work isnt it ? how you set it up etc!

Thanks for any help :) (and if this was the real coursework its totally legal! You get your name printed in my work, whomever helps :p)

    Ty!

p.s. as many methods as possibnle would be useful, links to look at etc :)

dunno the answer to your question, but I can tell you that a Flux Capacitor needs 1.21 jigawatts of power :D

Don't you use a small search coil? And some sticky-back plastic and a cornflake packet.

Well thats just common sense :D

If I had any idea what you were talking about I would answer... The only thing I can suggest is Google or your local library... Or maybe a "Magnetic Flux Density Engineer"

There are a lot of posts by people younger than me on this forum that make me feel stupid, ignorant, and uninformed, but this one takes the cake. I will, however, try to answer your question. The measurement of the magnetic flux density inside a coil is exactly 42.
