Somewhat of an odd request, I've got a narrow slide-out desk, and can't fit any regular Gaming Keyboards on it, such as the G15/Eclipse II, and I'm really stuck as to what to choose. At the moment I've got some bog-standard Dell thing, but It's dying on me and really doesn't cut it after all of 4 years. :waah:

I'd really like to know whether there are any decent Keyboards under 19", because this thing is killing me.

My Logitech Illuminated keyboard is 18", and is absolutely fine for gaming if you don't mind not having any programmable macro keys.

How much did you get it for? I've seen it before in shops, but £69.99 seems a bit excessive. It DOES look good though, I might have to if nothing else catches my eye, or just buy a new desk. :p

I got mine for £45 (can't remember where now), but Play and Amazon have it for £55, which is about the price of most gaming keyboards.

    Logitech Illuminated comes to mind.

But if you're a gamer you should choose your furniture to suit your hardware, not the other way around.

Just measured my Logitech Ultra-X keyboard and that's 18" wide too.
This has 6 dedicated keys (Media, Play/Pause, Mute, Favorites, E-Mail, WWW)
but I don't think it's widely available anymore.

Both the Ultra-X and the Illuminated keyboard have short travel low profile
"laptop" style keys which are not always to everyone's taste.
Personally I like that style of key or the wonderful IBM Model-M "clacketty-clack".

If you're referring to the UltraX Premium version, then definitely agreed! Fantastic keyboards, have two of them myself, and I don't want to use any other keyboard :D

Hah, much more what I was looking for price-wise, I think I'll get one of these to last me until I can afford a whole new desk. (And can get a bigger Keyboard, good times..)

On a side note, anyone recommend a corner desk that's large enough for a regular Human? Having the smallest room isn't ideal when you collect things like a magpie. :sigh:

Mine seems to be getting more and more cramped thanks to all the extra crap I seem to be accumulating.
