I'm looking to reduce heat output in my ITX rig, so was thinking about a SB upgrade. However, I can't seem to find a single P67 (or even Z67) ITX mobo.

Has anyone heard anything on this front?

If you need this kind of power, yeah... sure...

I'd still consider a full ATX board for overclocking in that case, especially because of the power-phases.

mSATA SSD costs more than a normal 20GB SSD due to complexity and PCB, and they need to be bought in bulk: Intel NAND dept. will ALWAYS make their margins on it - esp. SLC.

So it's just not fesable on mini-ITX unless you're pushing mSATA over lots of boards - even then, the market is extremely limited to prosumers who haven't already bought an SSD. Plus mini-ITX cases have SSD spots and if you're going to use space on the board for something you'd not choose mSATA sorry :)

mini-ITX also doesnt have the capacity for high OC too - there's simply not enough space for VRMs and you'd have to use a 6-8 layer PCB = cost $$$$

Plus I bet you want full DDR3 slots in addition to that full PCI-E slot and 6 SATA as well? :p:p:p

I think that magic dust to make things bigger than they physically are would be put to much more profitable use in the pharmaceutical or porn industries :naughty: ;);););)
